CrossFLOW CFU module provides the solution for powder containment during sampling, weighing and dosing operations.

Primarily conceived for the pharmaceutical and chemical industries for preserving
the integrity of safe and hygienic manufacturing processes, employing a CrossFLOW CFU module is suitable anytime during the manufacturing process powders may be spilt into the environment.

The CrossFLOW Powder Containing modules, eliminating the risk of cross-contamination for the operators, the products handled and the inner and external environment, provide protection and guarantee safe conditions during all operational processes.
The basic working principle is an air flow pattern providing a slight negative pressure which isolates the booth from the surrounding area, eliminating any risk of contamination towards the external environment.

Housing:
Body structure fully made in stainless steel AISI 304L 4B (Scotch Brite finishing) press-bent metal sheets with radius of 3 mm for easy cleaning and roughness lower than 0,8 Ra.

Filter:
H14 HEPA filter protective grids made in AISI 304L stainless steel. Prefiltration stage consisting of G3 filtration cells made in AISI 304L stainless steel fitted with quick-release system and F9 dihedral bag filters in compliance to EN 779. Filtration stage consisting of main and exhaust H14 HEPA filter DUG type with volume control dumper and DEHS test port with typical efficiency of 99.995% MPPS according to CEN EN 1822. Bag plenum made in technical material for superior air diffusion.

Ventilation:
Ventilation is provided by high efficiency electronically commutated double inlet motorblowers ECM DDTAC type.

Pressure control:
Pressure control provided by electronic output and analogic visualization by means of Dwyer manometers.

Side walls:
Side containment provided by means of PVC strip curtains or stainless steel side walls.
