Laminar Air Flow Booth VFU Modules are units with vertical laminar flow which offer ISO3 class conditions according to ISO 14644-1 and which can be linked together from small modules up to modules reaching cleanroom size. These LAF modules may be standing on stainless steel feet or may be suspended from the ceiling.

Polycarbonate or PVC strip curtains with quick-release system at the edges of the modules separate the clean area underneath the modules from the external environment. Taylor-made modular units can be mounted and suspended across the limited area barrier (RABS) of pharmaceutical production units to maintain product sterility during filling procedures.

Special LAF-Modules can be used in many ways; in food and beverage industry to build up a strong positive pressure inside the filling machine to avoid external contamination during the filling process.

Housing:
Entirely of stainless steel AISI 304L 4B (Scotch Brite) pressure-bent metal sheets with 3 mm radius for easy cleaning, roughness less 0,8 Ra. Filter protection grid of galvanized aluminium. The pre-filters are G3 filter cells of stainless steel AISI 304L with a separating rate of  80 ≤ Am >90, according to EN 779. The main filtration is obtained by main H14 HEPA filters with low pressure dropand efficiency of 99,995% MPPS as per CEN EN 1822. Exchanging of filter from the bottom (BR-series) or from the lateral side of the modules (SR-series). Innovative pocket-plenum design for advanced air guidance and low noise level.

Air guidance:
Negative pressure, corresponds to the GMP requirements to avoid the risk of escaping contaminated external air or filter-loss air and to minimize pressure / transition loss.

Connection:
For DEHS filter integrity test.

Ventilation:
With centrifugal AC double suction ventilator. 

Electric connection:
230V/50Hz single phase.
